NYC Wedding Photographer

Timeless wedding photography rooted in real moments.

Hey, I’m Kali. I’m a NYC wedding photographer and the person behind Kali Love Stories.

By now, you’ve probably looked at a bunch of wedding photographer websites. They can start to sound the same. Same buzzwords. Same polished phrases. Here’s the real deal. I’m not about staged smiles or stiff poses. What I do best is capturing real, candid moments.

The way you look at each other when no one’s watching. That laugh you didn’t expect. The quick squeeze of a hand when it hits you. Those are the moments I live for, and they’re the ones you’ll keep.

I’ve photographed hundreds of intimate ceremonies and City Hall days in New York City. My team now covers full traditional weddings across NYC, Long Island, the Hudson Valley, New Jersey, and Connecticut. I’ve also worked with couples in Florida, Seattle, and Jamaica. Wherever your wedding is, you get calm direction when needed, space when you need it, and clean, true-to-life images. You’ll receive a 30 image sneak peek within two weeks and the full gallery within eight weeks. When a second photographer is helpful, we confirm availability and lock it in.

Where We Work

Most weddings I shoot as a NYC Wedding Photographer are in NYC, Long Island, and the Hudson Valley, with regular work in New Jersey and Connecticut. I’m based in New York City. Most of the weddings I shoot happen somewhere in the tri-state area — Brooklyn, Manhattan, Long Island, Jersey, a little bit of everywhere. My second shooter and I cover different angles and make sure nothing important gets missed.

Whether it’s a backyard setup in Queens, a loft in SoHo, or a tropical ceremony in Jamaica, we adapt to whatever the vibe is. Big wedding, small wedding, something in between. If it matters to you, we’ll catch it.

The approach is calm and efficient, which helps in fast NYC timelines and crowded spaces.

I’m not just showing up with a camera and checking off a shot list. I pay attention to the little stuff — how you two interact, who your people are, when the energy shifts.

Most couples say I felt like a quiet friend in the background. Someone who just got it without needing to ask. That’s exactly how I like it.

You don’t have to know how to pose or where to stand. I’ll give you just enough direction so you’re not wondering what to do with your hands. But I’m mostly there to catch what unfolds naturally. That’s where the magic is.

What It’s Like to Work Together

One of the biggest things couples tell me is they had no idea how much wedding photography should cost.  Most websites don’t give any real numbers. And reaching out just to get hit with a quote that doesn’t fit your budget... that’s frustrating.

That’s exactly why I built the Soft Pricing Estimator. Use the Soft Pricing Estimator to explore NYC wedding photography pricing based on your timeline and coverage needs.Once you have a range, I’ll put together a custom proposal that fits your day.

It’s quick, it’s transparent, and it gives you a realistic range based on your actual needs. No hidden fees. No pressure. You can play around with different options, see what’s possible, and get a sense of how things might come together for your day.

Not Sure What It’ll Cost? You’re Not Alone
